    Gomany’s factory is located in Shenzhen, China, thousands of kilometers away from Malaysia. Due to the long transportation distance, we need to be prepared to resist various unforeseen risks, such as bad weather or customs inspection delays, etc.

    We need to consider various transportation issues to ensure that the 200 devices are not damaged during transportation and can be delivered to Malaysia on time. This requires us to find a suitable transportation method.



  • Delivery Issue


    Adhikari has a clear delivery requirement for the purchase of digital shelf display, because they plan to complete the shelf upgrade of all stores before the anniversary celebration to attract more customers and improve the effect of the anniversary celebration. Gomany has several batch orders before this order, which requires Gomany to provide a more rigorous production plan.

  • System Compatibility Issues

    In response to the system compatibility issue, Gomany's technical team and Adhikari's technical team quickly formed a joint project team to conduct in-depth research on multiple remote meetings between the two parties.

    Gomany decided to use two methods for uploading: USB flash drive update and background remote update. Various files can be imported into the screen for update through the background, and data can also be transmitted through USB flash drives. Each store can choose to update the content in a way that suits them.


  • Meeting Transportation Challenges

    In order to ensure that the 200 devices can be delivered to Malaysia safely and on time, Gomany prepared a series of carefully planned transportation measures. First, when selecting a logistics partner, Gomany conducted a detailed evaluation of multiple logistics companies, taking into account factors such as transportation service quality, transportation timeliness and transportation costs, and finally selected a logistics partner with rich experience and good reputation in the field of international logistics.


  • Short Delivery Challenge

    Faced with tight delivery requirements, Gomany launched an emergency production plan. Manager Cheng, the head of the production department, quickly adjusted the work plan of the production line and sorted the projects according to their urgency.
    In order to speed up production, some easy processes were handed over to office staff by the old to the new. All staff were responsible for the project and strengthened communication and coordination with raw material suppliers to ensure the timely supply of raw materials and avoid production stagnation due to raw material shortages.
    After the joint efforts of all employees, Gomany finally completed the production task of 200 shelf bar screens on time and successfully passed the quality inspection.


The Results Achieved

Adhikari said that before deploying shelf edge display, pharmacies had been facing a series of operational problems. The shelf information display capabilities in pharmacies were limited and inconvenient to update. It was difficult for customers to obtain accurate product information. The lack of information flow led to the loss of many customers.

At the same time, although the pharmacy had a wide variety of medicines, the overall display was disorganized and the medicines could not be displayed in a unified manner, which was not conducive to customers' viewing habits.

After the deployment, the pharmacy's operating results have improved. Now, customers can obtain accurate drug information in real time on the screen on the shelf, which reduces the workload of employees, increases the efficiency of information acquisition by 45%, reduces the customer churn rate to 8%, increases the pharmacy's sales performance, and optimizes inventory management.

After the shelf bar screen is connected to the inventory system, the accuracy of inventory data has reached 98%, fully demonstrating the significant advantages of Gomany's shelf digital display in helping pharmacies upgrade to digitalization and enhance their overall competitiveness.
